1.How do I return an item on Officecart.com

Conveniently place your return request online if you've received an item in a 'Damaged', 'Defective' or 'Not as Described' state.

·      Create a Return Request

-       Go to 'My Orders'

-       Open the order were you can see the product you want to return

-       Click 'Return'

·      2. 'Item to be Returned' is picked up

-       a) The item you wish to return will be picked up from your doorstep.

Or 

-       b)Items to be Returned are to be shipped back to us by you.

2.Easy Returns :-

We try our best to offer you a hassle-free returns experience..In order to return any Products, You are required to comply with the below mentioned conditions:

·       Please notify Officecart of receipt of a damaged/ defective product/service within 48-hours of delivery to You. If You are unable to do so within 48-hours, OFFICECART shall not be held liable for the failure to replace/return the order;*

·       Products should be unused;*

·       OFFICECART will arrange pick-up of the damaged/defective Product through its own logistics partner.

·       If OFFICECART is unable to do so, OFFICECART will notify You regarding the same and You will be required to dispatch the product using a reputed courier in Your respective area within one (1) day from receipt of such notice.

·       Courier freight charges will be reimbursed in such form as is determined by the logistics team of Officecart upon prior consultation with OFFICECART;

·       Products should be returned in their original packaging along with the original price tags, labels, barcodes, user manual, warranty card and invoices etc.;

·       It is advised that the return packets should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no further damage of products during transit;

·       The returned Products are subject to verification and checks by OFFICECART/VENDOR/SELLER in order to determine the legitimacy of the complaint/ return. If the claim is not legitimate, you will be required to bear the shipping costs for the product.

·       * These conditions will not apply to Products where the defects could not, using reasonable diligence, have been discovered, at the time of delivery.

·        If a Product returned is duly accepted by OFFICECART, the value of such Product, as originally paid by You will be refunded to You.

·       Refund will be processed based on the payment MODE used by you when purchasing/buying the item and OFFICECART or the approved payment gateway will credit Your refunds directly into Your debit/credit card or online accounts or provide You with a cheque in this regard.

·        Refunds will be subject to the following:

·       Orders paid online will be refunded within 7-21 working days through the online account or via cheque, depending on the then current circumstances as determined by Officecart;

·       For Cash on Delivery payments, You will be provided with a refund cheque.

·       If the Product can be repaired by the service centre, Officecart will get the same repaired and send it back to You.

·       A promo code, once used shall not be refunded in case of cancellation of order either by customer or Officecart.

Additional Exceptions:

There are certain additional scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns.

  • Return request is made outside the specified time frame.
  • Anything missing from the package you've received including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies and accessories.
  • Defective/damaged products that are covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Product is damaged due to misuse or Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product.
  • Specific categories like Furniture, Drawing Items ,Lights
  • Any consumable item that has been used or installed.
  • Products with tampered or missing serial numbers.
  • Made-to-order / custom Furniture,lights,stationery
  • Fragile items, 

3.Returns policy :

We at Officecart understand how much you value your every purchase. And we are committed to making your shopping experience with us as delightful as possible.

  • Therefore, in the rare event that you are not fully satisfied with what you ordered, just return it to us.( Subject to return terms for the product)
  • You can conveniently initiate the return online.
  • We will ensure you get a resolution as quickly as possible.
  • Our Returns policy may vary depending on each category & product .

We assure you that all products sold on Officecart are brand new and 100% genuine. In case the product you received is 'Damaged', 'Defective' or 'Not as Described', our Returns policy has got you covered.

Possible resolution could be Replacement, Exchange (only for Stationery and Furniture) or Refund in case we are unable to provide a Replacement/Exchange.

Upon receiving Your complaint, Officecart shall verify the authenticity and the nature of the complaint and if Officecart is convinced that the complaint is genuine, Officecart will inform the relevant Vendor/seller of such complaint and request for a replacement. If the complaint is frivolous or baseless, Officecart reserves the right to take legal actions against You and You will be solely liable for all costs incurred by Officecart in this regard.

Replacement

  • If you have received an item in a 'Damaged' or 'Defective' condition, or it is 'Not as Described' by Officecart/ Seller, you may request a replacement at no extra cost.
  • Return Policy of  Officecart/Seller is specific and terms may differ for each product. Please check the respective Officecart/Seller's policy when buying or before initiating a return for a replacement for a particular product.
  • Replacement is subject to availability of stock with Vendor / Seller. If the product is out of stock, you will receive a refund, subject to terms for the product & the authenticity and the nature of the complaint and if Officecart is convinced that the complaint is genuine.

Exchange

  • If you are not satisfied with the Stationery item delivered, you can request an exchange in a different size or color. delivery charges extra & if product cost varies then they will be a cost to you. Be sure to check the Officecart/Seller's Return Policy when buying or before initiating a return for exchange for a product.
  • Exchange is subject to availability of stock with Officecart/Seller. If the product is out of stock, you will receive a refund, subject to terms for the product & the authenticity and the nature of the complaint and if Officecart is convinced that the complaint is genuine

4. When are returns not possible?

There are certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns

5.When are Refunds provided?

  • We work to provide the most hassle-free online shopping experience. You are covered and your money is safe.

Refunds are issued when

  • Officecart /Vendor or the Seller cannot provide replacement
  • the authenticity and the nature of the complaint and if Officecart is convinced that the complaint is genuine
  • In-line with Buyer Protection, when a dispute has been ruled in your favour 
  • Officecart/Vendor/Seller allows Refunds on select categories under certain conditions. Please check with the individual Officecart/Vendor/Seller's Returns Policy for each product.

6.Replacement policy:

a) I have requested a replacement, when will I get it?

·       Once officecart has received Your complaint, Officecart shall verify the authenticity and the nature of the complaint and if Officecart is convinced that the complaint is genuine, Officecart will inform the relevant Vendor/seller of such complaint and request for a replacement. If the complaint is frivolous or baseless, Officecart reserves the right to take legal actions against You and You will be solely liable for all costs incurred by Officecart in this regard.

  • Once a replacement request is created, we send you an email detailing the pickup process as well as provide details about the replacement with in 2-3 working days of receiving the request.
  • It usuall takes about 10 - 30 maximum working days to get the replacement from the manufacturer & delivery to your location depending on the category of the product.  
  • In most locations, the replacement item is delivered to you at the time of pick-up. In all other areas, the replacement is initiated after the originally delivered item is picked up/received.
  • If you don't get the return/replacement  within the promised date, contact us immediately.

7.I've still not received the refund to my bank account. Why?

  • If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request then rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organisations for the same.
  • Orders paid online will be refunded within 7-21 working days through the online account or via cheque, depending on the then current circumstances as determined by Officecart;
  • For Cash on Delivery payments, You will be provided with a refund cheque.
  • A promo code, once used shall not be refunded in case of cancellation of order either by customer or Officecart.
  • Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn't happened by the date we promised, you can contact us. We will gladly help you.

8.What is the pickup process? Why I have been asked to ship the item?

  • Once you have requested for a replacement, we will schedule the pickup of the originally delivered product. Please ensure that product is in unused and original condition. Include all price tags, labels, original packing and invoice along with the product.
  • It is advised that the return packets should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no further damage of products during transit;

The returned Products are subject to verification and checks by OFFICECART/VENDOR/SELLER in order to determine the legitimacy of the complaint/ return. If the claim is not legitimate, you will be required to bear the shipping costs for the product.

  • We arrange for pickup from most of our customer locations. Its simple. Please follow the instructions you received by email
  • In case we can't pick up the item from your location, you can ship it back to the Officecart/Vendor or the Seller. We will reimburse the shipping charges against the original receipt
  • Include all price tags, labels, original packing and invoice along with the product. Pack the item safely to ensure against damage in transit
  • Mention the Return ID on the package so that we can acknowledge your return
  • Please mention Vendor/Seller's address as specified in the email notification sent to you
  • Do retain the original receipt for the courier charges you have paid, it will be required to reimburse the shipping charges. Also note down the courier tracking id for any future reference
  • Refund/replacement will be initiated as soon as Vendor/Seller receives the product from you

9. Cancellation / Refund Policy 

Cancellations - 

a) How do I cancel an order?

  • You can cancel your order online before the product has been shipped or within 48hrs of you placing the order. Your entire order amount will be refunded. 
  • The amount will be refunded via original method of payment within 07 to 10 working days.
  • Unfortunately, an order cannot be cancelled once the item has been shipped by Officecart/seller or delivered to you.

b) In order to cancel an item in your order:

  • Log into your Officecart.com account and go to the 'My Orders' page 
  • Identify the order and in the order the item you want to cancel and click on the return or Cancel button
  • In the detailed order page, you will see 'Cancel' / 'Return' links against each of the items in that order, You can cancel the order from here within 48hrs of you placing the order 
  • Click on the 'Cancel' link, indicate the reason for cancellation and confirm cancellation
  • Once your cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation is processed as soon as possible

c) How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

  • Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 2-3 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund. You will be notified of the same by email.
  • amount will be refunded via original method of payment within 07 to 10 working days.

If the Order Status shows the item(s) in your order as 'Shipped', we will process your cancellation request directly with our logistics partner. Your refund will be processed soon after we receive the cancelled items back from the courier.

 Please get in touch with the banks directly in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by us.

d) Why do I see a disabled 'Cancel' link?

A disabled 'Cancel' link can mean the following things:

  • After 48hrs of time after you placing an order. 

  • The item is being shipped together with another order of yours

  • In any of the above cases you can get intouch with our customer care.

Payment Done twice -

In a rare case if your card has been charged twice for the same order , Please notify officecart immeditaly & we shall refund the one amount will be refunded via same source within 07 to 10 working days

9.Warranties and Claims.

Please note the standard warranties and the conditions for usage of the Products in relation to each Product given by the vendor/manufacurer. No claim (a) that is contrary to the above or (b) where Products have been used contrary to the conditions of usage; will be entertained.

10. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

a. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Officecart, Officecart.com from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, damages, demands, costs and expenses (including legal fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) asserted against or incurred by Officecart that arise out of, result from, or may be payable by virtue of, any breach of any representation, warranty, covenant or agreement made or obligation to be performed by You pursuant to these Supply Terms or any Additional Terms applicable to the purchase of Products.

b. In no event shall OFFICECART,Officecart.com its officers, directors, employees, partners or vendors be liable to You, the Vendor or any third party for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential or punitive damages whatsoever, including those resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not foreseeable or whether or not OFFICECART has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or based on any theory of liability, including breach of contract or warranty, negligence or other tortious action, or any other claim arising out of or in connection with Your purchase of the products and services herein. Notwithstanding anything to contrary, Officecart's entire liability to You under this Terms of Offer For Sale or otherwise shall be the refund of the money charged from You, under which the unlikely liability arises.

11.Governing Law

a. These Supply Terms and the relationship between You and Officecart shall be governed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles.

b. All claims, differences and disputes arising under or in connection with or in relation to the Terms of Offer For Sale or any transactions entered into on or through the Website or the relationship between You and Officecart/Officecart.com shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad and You hereby accede to and accept the jurisdiction of such courts.
